本機適宜對微小或不規(guī)則形狀和不易手拿的試樣進行鑲嵌，以便于對試樣進行切割、磨拋，再進行金相檢測或硬度測試。

本機由數(shù)顯溫控儀進行溫控，制樣結束后自動切斷電源，定時器控制制樣時間。
